The Diverse Images manufacturing process for the hand-crafted English Pewter models is shown below. As you scroll down the page, you'll follow the general process involved in creating the fine models presented on our Diverse Images catalog page. Beginning with the sculpted model parts, ready for mould making, the moulds, silicone and rubber are shown, along with the casting machine using molten pewter. The cast parts are shown prior to removal from the mould and the cleaned parts are then shown as they are readied for assembly. Several photos show the various propeller assemblies and individual seat assemblies. The model is final assembled, ready for painting and decal transfers.
